BRIC. is a space owned and operated by trans people for trans people.

The space focus on amplifying and supporting underrepresented trans artists and creatives through exhibitions, performances and other community-led events. With the aim of decreasing the gap in representation in the art world. Simultaneously, we want to promote a sense of creativity and community, in a space catered for us.

In the last few years, we have seen an increasing number of queer-owned venues shutting their doors. In a time where queer spaces are disappearing and the (almost) non-existence of trans owned, operated and platformed spaces, we found the urgency to birth a hub of opportunity exclusively for the trans community.

BRIC. is a collaborative space within the community. We invite trans people to bring their events to us and to make use of the space. We want to encourage an exchange of resources through community building. We value equity rather than equality, solidarity rather than charity.
